About Us

GERARD -Owner Operator

I grew up in the Manawatu spending a lot of my early life on farms.

I served my apprenticeship in Palmerston North for Albert Auto Services starting in 1975.

I stayed there until 1985 when I packed up and moved to Whangarei.

I have worked for many local firms including a nearly 4 year stint at an auto electrical workshop up until mid 2007 when I purchased Jubilee Motors.

Since then I have enjoyed working with and getting to know my many customers.

I enjoy hunting and fishing although neither happens often enough for my liking.

I build and fly radio controlled aircraft, mainly multirotor but I also have a few helicopters and a small fixed wing aeroplane. I am currently building a second aeroplane and have plans to build a flying wing type aircraft.

I am starting to delve in to aerial photography and video and also enjoy FPV flying my mini quadcopter.

I live on a small rural lifestyle block with a dog a cat some chickens and a few cattle.

I  have a 7 year old son that loves the outdoors. He already seems to be a bit of a petrol head and is constantly asking me to increase the power on his little quad bike. He has also just started riding 2 wheels and loving it.

I also have an adult daughter that has just made me a Grandad. :)

Braden

I was born and have grown up in Whangarei.

Having a father own one of the long established local car wreckers meant there was a fairly good chance I would end up in this industry.

I have been in the industry since 2005, have a National Certificate in Automotive Engineering

level 4 and am an authorised WOF inspector.

I have an interest in customising cars and have a few that are works in progress.

I am also a keen hunter.
